About Me

Hi, I’m Lauren — a holistic community herbalist with a heart rooted deeply in plants and people. My approach to herbalism is centered on the whole person. Instead of chasing symptoms, I look for the story beneath them, the imbalance at the root, and the gentle ways plants can help guide the body back toward harmony.
I believe herbs aren’t just remedies — they’re companions. They’re daily allies that support our nervous systems, nourish our hearts, calm our minds, and root us into ourselves. And I believe everyone can benefit from welcoming them into everyday life.
Some of the plants I hold closest are Holy Basil and Mimosa Flower — both have supported me through different seasons of life, and my relationship with them has grown through hands-on experience and study. My herbal path has taken me through Vitalist Herbalism training at the Vital Ways Institute in Portland, OR, coursework in Botanical Skincare through The Herbal Academy, and ongoing studies with Sajah Popham at the Evolutionary School of Herbalism, where I continue deepening my understanding of Vitalism and weaving in Ayurvedic principles.
Before settling back on the East Coast in Virginia, I lived in Oregon for three years — a place that shaped my relationship with the natural world in profound ways. The mossy forests, towering evergreens, carpets of mushrooms, and ever-changing colors of the earth taught me how alive, generous, and wise our ecosystems are. Hiking became my daily ritual there, and it remains one of my greatest sources of grounding and inspiration here in Virginia.
Everything I create — from teas and herbal powders to bath salts and beauty blends — is infused with that connection, that intention, and that love for the plant world. My hope is that these offerings help bring a little more calm, nourishment, and nature into your daily life, too.
